Google PageRank Update October 2009

I guess you are as interested as me when Google is looking to do its latest update of its visual PageRank. We one thing I do know it’s not far off. I would imagine that it will be in the next 10 days.

I have seen the odd article saying they have already had the September 2009 PageRank update; well………

I am not so sure about that but they are about too. The reason why I would say that it’s not been done yet is that I work for a huge International company with very many sites (over 30.000 of the buggers) and we track them to keep updated about things like this.

I have been in the game a long time and it does seem as though Google’s VISUAL PageRank has been updated every two month’s or so this year. google is a law to themselves but they are becoming more transparent so I guess the time is upon us.

Pagerank Update October 2009

I have not seen any movement in PageRank yet; although I have had a few people say they have seen the odd page ranking changes but no site wide movement. Personally; I am not sure the update has kicked in yet but one thing I do know; Google is hitting our network of sites far more lately at work (4 national directories, 134 trade specific portals and the 30.000 business websites we look after). This does show that “something is in the making”, what that is I cant be sure. We all know about Google Caffeine ; so it could be for this but I think they (Google) will be making changes sooner rather than later. Roll on
